Presenting important artworks from across the Arab world, The Future of a Promise will be the Venice Biennale’s first pan-Arab exhibition of contemporary art. From Tunisia all the way to Saudi Arabia, this landmark exhibition brings together more than 25 recent works and commissions, ranging from painting, drawing and photography, to video, sculpture and installation. The exhibition is curated by Lina Lazaar,
produced by Edge of Arabia and supported by Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives
and Abraaj Capital. The Future of a Promise is accompanied
by a fully illustrated catalogue in English, produced by Ibraaz Publishing.
